Your Ouarzazate to Zagora Desert Day Trip begins around 7:30 AM with a private pickup from your accommodation. Travel southeast through the dramatic Anti-Atlas Mountains, climbing toward the Tinifift Pass, which offers impressive views across the rugged mountain landscape.
Descend toward Agdz, the gateway to the Draa Valley, and follow the valley through extensive palm groves, ancient kasbahs, and traditional villages. Stop at Tamnougalt to explore its historic kasbah and enjoy a refreshing Moroccan mint tea.
Continue through the Draa Valley toward Zagora, a peaceful desert oasis surrounded by palm trees and traditional architecture. From Zagora, continue to Tamgroute, where you can discover its historic library, underground passages, and famous traditional green pottery cooperative.
